Our hand woven African baskets are from Bolga in Northern Ghana. Traditionally used to carry goods, the Ghanaian Bolga baskets are famous for their durability and long lasting quality. Made from dried elephant grass, dyed using a combination of natural occurring dyes from the earth and fabric dyes to achieve the vibrant colours and patterns recognizable throughout African culture.

All baskets are different in design, they either have tan or black leather handles. The weave i either in black and natural or only natural. If you would like to choose exactly what we have in stock please get in contact with us.
