Edible Beauty Coco Bliss Intensive Repair Creme
An intensely hydrating cream designed to restore the skin’s moisture barrier and visibly enhance skin radiance. This formula blends natural actives along with nourishing botanicals including ceramides, organic Camellia and Babbasu Oil, to support the skin acid mantle by providing hydration to dry skin. Containing Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), this product encourages more youthful looking and visibly even skin tone and texture.
Key Actives
Ceramides: bio-active fatty acids encapsulated for efficacious skin barrier. Reinforce the natural lipid barrier of dry, sensitive or ageing skin against moisture loss.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): helps brighten dullness, evens out skin tone, minimise pores whilst improving barrier function and visibly improving the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
Babassu Oil: cold-pressed organic phyto-active oil from Brazil, abundant in phytosterols and vitamin E to reduce transepidermal water loss and restore skin hydration.
Camellia Seed Oil, is native to Japan and South East Asia. This oil is very stable which means it does not oxidise and penetrates quickly into the deeper layers of the skin. It is rich in oleic acid (Omega 9), which makes it an effective oil for dry skin as it can effectively replenish the skin’s moisture barrier and also prevent additional trans-epidermal water loss, helping to soothe irritated skin.
It also contains linoleic acid (Omega 6) which provides it with skin rejuvenating and scar healing properties. It is an emulsifying oil which means it can help to emulsify other fats, acting as a carrier to help other oils penetrate the dermis.
Camellia Seed Oil also contains natural phyto-actives, such as vitamin E, vitamin C and youth-boosting polyphenols, which protect against environmental aggressors. Our Camellia Seed Oil is cold-pressed and certified organic.
Babassu Oil, is a cold-pressed organic phyto-active oil, and is sustainably harvested from the seeds of the Babassu palm found in Brazil. The properties of the oil make it an ideal light-weight, highly absorbent oil with unique skin soothing and nourishing benefits. It contains fatty acids highly sought after in skincare formulations for dry skin, including high concentrations of Lauric and Myristic acid along with a high concentration of tocopherols (vitamin E), a potent compound touted for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Used in our Coco Bliss Intensive Repair as an alternative to Coconut Oil it provides intense hydration without leaving the skin feeling 'heavy' or greasy.
Pomegranate Extract, is a potent source of polyphenols (including tannins, ellagitannins, and anthocyanins), along with vitamin C, which provides the fruit with its unique antioxidant and free radical scavenging properties. Its antioxidant content helps to prevent cellular damage, reducing the incidence of age spots and promoting cell regeneration. Pomegranate extract promotes collagen and elastin production, helping to smooth, firm and soften the skin for a youthful complexion.
Containing punicic acid (an omega 5 fatty acid) and ellagic acid, pomegranate is a wonderful ingredient for dry skin, helping to hydrate and prevent trans-epidermal water loss. Ellagic acid also assists in supporting skin cell strength and protecting against oxidative damage.
Application
Apply & Coco Bliss Intensive Repair Cream on cleansed skin as an ultra-hydrating and moisture replenishing cream.
To use as a luxurious hydrating mask, apply as a thick layer on cleansed skin, leave for 15 to 20 minutes and remove with tepid water.
